Mind Strong North East is a North East based social enterprise committed to improving the mental well-being of the community we serve. It is led by the founder who is a Mental Health Movement Coach with ADHD/Bipolar I specialise in working with neurodivergent people.

I have dealt with body image & eating issues since before I was 10 years old and I know how harmful it is to our health. I want to use my knowledge of mindset, ADHD/Bipolar and personal experience, to help you change your life. The guidance I use with my 1:1 clients will help you eat more consistently & have a better relationship with your mind & body. I want to empower you how to feel in control so you can stop bingeing and feel happier and healthier! I truly believe that’s my purpose.

The three main pillars of Mind Strong

  1. One of our main goals is to raise awareness of the huge mental health benefits of moving our minds & bodies
  2. Our organisation is user-led which enables us to better understand our target group and have thriving social media communities
  3. The Community Development Team is already working with other linked organisations to create a virtual hub to connect people living with mental health conditions with sources of specialist support.

Why?

Because exercise boosts your happy hormones! These hormones (endorphins and serotonin) are known to help lift your mood and lower rates of depression. How good is that?

There are loads of other health benefits when exercising (it’s a win-win) – but we’re all about the feel-good factor at Mind Strong.

Even better, all this exercise and mood-boosting is great for your self-esteem and confidence. And time after time, we see it have a domino effect on other areas of life – such as your work, social life, and relationships.
